Alfred Hitchcock’s psychological horror film from 1960, at 7pm
A Phoenix secretary embezzles $40,000 from her employer’s client, goes on the run, and checks into a remote motel run by a young man under the domination of his mother. Psycho is now considered one of Hitchcock’s best films and praised as a major work of cinematic art by international film critics and scholars. Often ranked among the greatest films of all time, it set a new level of acceptability for violence, deviant behavior and sexuality in American films, and is widely considered to be the earliest example of the slasher film genre. We went back again to Hitchcock because Psycho is one of our all time favorites and perfect for a hot summer movie night. Pre-Movie cocktails and snacks will again be at Flat Iron Tap – 150 Center St. They have over 100 beers available and premium wines. They also incredible farm to table specialties.
