Walworth County Department of Health & Human Services is a hosting a free movie at Geneva Theater to help people understand the opioid epidemic that is affecting so many families locally and across the country.
Written Off is a personal, very human look at the crisis because Matt Edwards, a young man from northern Wisconsin who first took prescription painkillers after a surgery, chronicled his own descent and addiction in spiral notebooks, meticulously noting every milligram he took, every dollar he spent, and every attempt to quit.
